Do You Need A Superior Printer? Explore How The Dell S2500 Printer Is An Economical Move Towards A Truly Professional Home Office
Everyone needs a great laser printer in today's world - no matter if it's for home, school, or work. And, just like with any printer, the Dell S2500 printer using Dell S2500 Printer Toner will have some installation and troubleshooting areas that you might face. But, these are never very hard to deal with, and with the right information you can easily clear up these areas and get back to work. Here is your free guide to some of the common areas that you will deal with on a Dell s2500 printer:
Optional Drawer Installation: There are two other drawers that you can purchase and install for your Dell S2500 printer. One is an extra 250-page drawer and the other is a larger 500-page drawer. To install these, you need to do a few things first. Make sure that you have disconnected the printer from the network and other computers, then turn off the power, once the power is off you want to unplug it from the source. Now, you simply follow the instructions for the drawer and you are ready to go.
Memory Card Installation: If you need to install a memory card for your Dell S2500 printer, simply purchase the right one and you can easily install it on your own. When you are buying your card, you want to make sure that it has 100-pin connectors and that it is a printer card or a flash card. You want to make sure that you don't have any static electricity built up as it can wipe out these cards, so touch something metal before you touch the card itself. Then, take the card out, open the top of the printer by using the latches on each side, and then push the memory card into place until you feel it "snap". Now, close the top cover and you're finished.
Raise the Paper Rest: This is a very easy thing to do, simply slide the paper rest forward out of the S2500 printer to raise it to the desired height. This will help to keep your printed documents from laying flat or from falling off of the printer when they are done.
Operator Panel Overlay: For those that aren't familiar with this, the operator panel overlay is a plate on the front of this Dell printer that tells you what is going on in the printer. There are different overlay panels for those that need it in another language beside English. To install a new overlay, choose the desired language, peel off the backing, and line up the holes on the new overlay with the buttons below. Simply press the new overlay down and you're ready to go.
Side Cover Removal: There are several times that you might have to remove the side cover on this Dell printer, such as to replace the S2500 Printer Toner Cartridge or clear a paper jam. Simply open the upper front door and the multipurpose door by pressing the two tabs. Then, slide the side cover off of the back side of the printer. You'll then be able to put the memory card in, change cartridges, or clear paper jams.
Removing the Shield: On the side cover of the printer, you will find the shield. You open up the side cover, and unscrew the six screws that are underneath. Do not remove these, simply unscrew them until the shield slides easily. Then, slide it to the left until you feel it stop. You can then just pull it straight out.
Now that you know these easy to do, normal installation areas that you will come up against with a Dell S2500 printer, you can see that this is an easy printer to own and use. When compared to other larger printers, S2500 printer is extremely user friendly when it comes to any type of installation or paper jam.
Also one of the best things out there is the S2500 Toner that always provides crisp, sharp prints, every page, every time. You won’t want to get caught without a spare Dell toner in your office and with companies such as Qtoner you won’t have to. Their great price and fast shipping make having a spare or two a no-brainer when you have that important deadline!
what do I need to use my 430ex-II off camera?
I have a Canon T1i and a 430ex-II on the way.. what do I need to buy to be able to use it as a slave or off camera flash.. cord and wireless option.
First, there are a couple of ways to use your 430ex off camera. Using it in a dedicated mode - where the 430 and camera commnuicate with each other during the shot is one way.
You can purchase a 3 foot cord that allows you to move the flash off camera a little and allows you to maintain the dedication.
A wireless way to go off camera and remain dedicated is via the ST-E2 speedlight transmitter. The ST-E2 fits in the hot shoe and communicates to the 430 EXII via infra red.
You can also purchase an additional flash - this time a Canon 580 EX, and have the 580 EX act as the master (in your hot shoe) and have it control the 430 EX off camera.
Whew! The second way is to use the 430 EX in a non-deciated way. You set the power level manually, and use radio wireless to trigger the flash. This is non-dedicated, meaning that you set the flash to a power level and need to set your aperture to the correct setting to get the correct exposure. Using a light meter makes this easy, but trial-and-error and the camera's LCD lets you home in on the correct settings quickly. You can add second and third flashes, and they don't need to be Canon dedicated flashes for this. Radio wireless can be from Pocket Wizard (the best, most expensive, and now getting into dedicated wireless for Canon and Nikon) or an Ebay seller like Gadget Infinity and anywhere in between.
