The FinePix Factual 3D W3 digital camera comes thoroughgoing with two 10-megapixel sensors and two Fujinon 3x optical ascent lenses. Two sets of lens that run in the synoptical way as humanlike eyes. Our ability to perceive depth comes from viewing an object along two different lines of sight. This phenomenon is called parallax. The FinePix REAL 3D W3 is fitted with two lenses to capture realistic images that are unchanged from how human eyes see them. FUJIFILM FinePix REAL 3D W1 Digital Camera....?

It has the option for 'underwater' shooting mode. But I can' find any evidence online anywhere to say that it is waterproof in any way.
Does anyone know if it is waterproof or would I need casing/housing for it?

In the official specs http://www.fujifilm.com/products/3d/camera/finepix_real3dw1/specifications/index.html the only reference I can find to underwater is that it has a whitebalance preset for underwater lighting.

So if you want to submerse the camera you would need a housing
