Just had ABS module replaced on my fiesta and when i got it back from the garage obviously my radio needed the code, and I don't have it wrote down anywhere and i bought the release keys from halfords only to learn that the anti theft clasps on the left side of the radio are damaged, so there's no way for me to get the radio out to get the serial number, I read somewhere that holding 6 and 1 gives all the info you need, so I've done that and it reads exactly as follows

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code...It usually begins with M++++++ or V++++++
Remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Here is a video showing how to remove a standard radio from the dashboard.
A pair of extractors are required (available from Ebay etc ) but these can be made from 2 pieces of bent, wire coat-hanger or 4 small drills(using the blunt end) or 4 small Allen Keys or 4 small screwdrivers or 4 nails or even 4 darts.
An assistant is useful to pull the radio out whilst you are releasing the 4
securing clips
