Voice Recorder?
Hey does anyone know a good sound/voice recorder (or any other alternative) that can record really high decibels? cuz the one i have can't capture the high-pitched chirps crickets make (tis for a science experiment).
Many voice systems (e.g. the telephone system) block frequencies above about 3 kHz, because those freqs. are not required for understanding speech & they waste valuable bandwidth.
So it might be better to use something intended for music. A laptop computer with a good corded microphone plugged into the Mic. input would work well. I like the software Goldwave to do such recordings.
